When our business graduates get their first job, their employers will find that they adapt easily and can hit the ground running immediately. This is because all students of the School of Business Management spend almost three quarters of their final year undergoing practical training.

Under the School’s unique Teaching Enterprise Project (TEP), all students spend six months attached to various business units on campus, such as retail outlets in NYP’s Marketing Service Centre, a call centre and a financial services resource centre. They also undergo an 11-week industrial attachment with external commercial companies. This intensive practical training, which exposes students to real business processes and aspects of operational management, helps them adapt seamlessly to the working world upon graduation.
Through ample opportunities to learn, do and lead, our students develop good business communication and presentation skills, a global and entrepreneurial mindset, and a readiness to tackle the challenges of the business world. Our all-round, quality business education places our graduates in good stead to succeed in the dynamic world of international business.
